Composition and Materials:  Doors are of extreme lightweight construction and positively weatherproof interlocked. Each panel consists of a 6063T6 aluminum alloy extruded frame with 16 mm (5/8") thick lightweight, smooth surface, translucent hollow-ribbed SDP polycarbonate panels. [Note: In the U.S., SDP is known as Exolite. Other similar products are available under different trade names. SDP polycarbonate is a double-skinned sheet, light-transmitting glazing element of outstanding heat insulation capacity. Other noteworthy characteristics are rigidity and extraordinary resistance to impact stresses and high service temperatures. Polycarbonate panels may be combined with aluminum, stainless steel or other type flat door panel materials.] Track is available in 50 mm (2") or 75 mm (3") for standard, high or vertical lift and low headroom application. Torsion spring assemblies ranging from 10, 000 to 100, 000 cycles, are equipped with ancillary hardware items and accessories (see "Specification" for detailed data). Sizes: Door sections available in up to 610 mm (2'-0") in height, 7 366 mm (24'-2") in width. Maximum overall door height is 9 754 mm (32'-0"). All sections are custom fabricated in 25 mm (1") increments both vertically and horizontally.  Top Weight: Door sections up to 6 m (20'-0") wide weigh approximately 10.25 kg/m2 (2.1 psf). Top Options: Viewing windows, exhaust ports, etc. are optional and available upon request. Consult with J.E.M. representative for compatibility with Polydoor. Top Installation: Preparatory work: Completely prepared door openings including frames and electrical power supply are provided by others. Method: The Polydoor overhead door can be supplied as a complete or part package and installed by an authorized agent or local distributor, or alternatively by the J.E.M. Door Co. Ltd.
